I’ve been working on this little project for my kids this year and am so excited that it’s almost done. In each little drawer is a paper with a service to perform for each night. Then turn the drawer around to reveal a piece of the photo on the back.

Brother is in Kindergarten and runs to class everyday because it's so fun! Sister reminds him every day "Don't get in trouble with the teacher!" on his way out the door.Princess
Sister is just as smart as her brother and quite independent. They love tricking mom and dad and making up funny names for things together.Honey
Our christmas lights were up and on for Halloween this year! YEAH! Do I have the best husband ever or what? Except for the white trash NASCAR blowup on my lawn HA!Sweety

Super Cool Sites
This turned out beautifully!! I love it. I really like the half bracket quote on the top. And the picture puzzle on the back of the boxes. BRILLIANT.
Wow!!! Great work!
Duh! Duh! Duh! You are the most talented ever. That advent is beyond adorable. I am not sure when I will get the time to do that, but I WILL. I need to adopt your “Never too busy” slogan. Seriously, that is super cute.
P.S. Remember me…brookiewookie’s curly-head friend 🙂
I found your site somehow going through tipjunkie and little wonders. I love your advent calendar! How did you make the scroll thing at the top? Where did you get the picture of Christ? This is exactly what I have been looking to make for my kids! Please share how to make it.

I can’t believe I found your blog!! It’s Jenifer Mann – way back from the East Elementary days! It looks like life has been good to you. I’m so glad! Your family is beautiful and you are so creative. 😉 I’m IN LOVE with your advent calendar. I’m talkin’ LOVE! Is there any chance you would be willing to send me a quick set of instructions? I’d be forever grateful! Hope to hear from you soon. 🙂
Jenifer
Would you be so kind as to share your instructions for making this beautiful advent calendar
Can you direct me to where I can find the set of drawers for this project?
Please share! I LOVE this.. Or make them and sell them!!
To find these, search for Karen Foster Countdown Calendar. I found mine at Ellen Huston, I think, but I know Toys R Us has them on their site too – online only. I’m working on mine now and the kids each have their own. Thanks for the ideas on the daily activities, because I’m looking for things to fill them with now. I was going to do a mixture of candy, scripture, small gifts, etc.
